Learning Tools Smackdown,
Maryland Style!

Teacher-librarians & technology education practitioners will share their ideas relating to effective practice in use of 2.0 tools to deliver the mission that resonates well with ISTE's NETS*S.
The tools have multiplied dramatically in the past year and this sharing session will help us all better understand thoughtful and engaging strategies for integration. We will update the wiki during and after the session to share with the larger community. This session embodies the MSET10 theme with a focus on the skills needed to create, communicate, and collaborate and start building your personal learning network! - Gwyneth Jones

Smackdown Planning

This Learning Tools Smackdown is part of franchise that Dr. Joyce Valenza created with other teacher librarians and technology educators presented at the NECC09 and then the AASL2009 conferences. These generous educators have voluteered that their work and resources be passed on to the next generation of learners! That's us! Please consider organizing a Smackdown in your county or state! Or, as in the words of Shonda Brisco, "The more we share the greater we become!"
